Meet Pat
A busted van.
A $1,500 check.
A really good cup of chai.
After a mission trip to India, Pat Tharp came home inspired by the people, culture, and chai. His wife started calling him “The Chai Guy.”
In 2014, an insurance check from an aging work van became the seed money for a Saturday stand at the Rochester Public Market. Word spread. Cafés started calling. The weekend side hustle grew into a full-time family business.
“We are so grateful to share our fresh, local, authentic chai with you.”
